Terry Peak Ski Area
Terry Peak offers 29 runs with vertical rise of 1100 feet and elevations over 7,000 feet. The three high-speed quads chairlifts, one triple Chairlifts and a Covered Snow Carpet will move you up the mountain safely and quickly. Two, day lodges provide a comfortable atmosphere to warm up. The Stewart Lodge offers a huge rental department with full ski and snowboard setups and equipment repair shop provides basic tune-ups to major repairs. In the Mountain Shop you will find all the necessities needed to make your day on the slope enjoyable. And take home some Terry Peak memorabilia to remember your great ski day. The upper level in Stewart Lodge is home to the Stewart Bar & Grill. The recent extensive remodel has expanded the seating so you can enjoy watching the slopes through the huge windows rapping around the lodge. The certified PSIA and AASI Ski and Snowboard School offers some of the best instructors in the industry. 1,000’s of people have learned the skill of skiing and snowboarding through the Terry Peak Ski School. The Nevada Gulch Lodge is home to the notorious Dark Horse Saloon. Here you will find a more local crowd and plenty of after ski fun.
Terry Peak in the Northern Black Hills has an average annual snowfall of 150 inches. Also, with a high-tech snow-making system covering 60% of the mountain, good conditions are assured from the beginning to the end of the season. After the ski day is done a fleet of a fleet of experienced operators in their Piston Bully Groomers will groom all beginner runs and most advanced runs to perfection.
