Town Hall Inn
This boutique hotel / B&B is located just five minutes – yet a world away – from Deadwood, SD. The property is conveniently situated just 17-18 miles from both Sturgis and Spearfish, and is about five miles from Ski Mystic Deer Mountain and Terry Peak. You will be right in the middle of all the action and adventure that the Black Hills have to offer. Lead’s Town Hall building was constructed in 1912 and served this function through 1938. This ornate building originally housed many town functions, including the mayor’s and treasurer’s offices, the court room, jail, and judge’s chambers – the gallows were located directly behind the building. The Homestake Mining Company housed their general offices here for nearly 50 years, and the building now is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
