Holiday Jam featuring the Hegg Brothers

November 18, 2017 - November 18, 2017

Deadwood Mountain Grand, Deadwood, SD
Entertainment for a cause. Join the Hegg Brothers and Deadwood Mountain Grand for a holiday concert with 100% of the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish South Dakota, Saturday, November 18th at 8pm.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Make A Wish Foundation that grants wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions throughout the United States and its territories. Make A Wish believes a wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a life threatening medical condition.
The Holiday Jam is a musical showcase that features the talents of a multi-piece band playing Christmas classics and contemporary arrangements in the signature and soulful sounds of Jeremy and Jon Hegg. With the addition of powerhouse vocalist Allison Nash, multi-instrumentalist Joel Shotwell and numerous talented friends, the 2017 showcase promises to be a distinctly South Dakota show with a few great surprises.

South Dakota natives, the Hegg Brothers have become famous throughout the years writing original compositions and playing with national performers such as Smokey Robinson and Chuck Berry. Jeremy is the staff arranger and composer for the Augustana Brass Choir, Sioux Falls Municipal Band and other marching band programs throughout the country. Jonathon’s arrangements have been conducted by former South Dakota Symphony conductor, Henry Charles Smith as well as principle trombonist of the New York Philharmonic, Joseph Alessi.

The Holiday Jam is a long-running holiday tradition that continues to highlight new musical twists. The two-hour show features stories of the season, message for the heart, and music to lift the spirits. Expect to hear horns, sax, piano, guitar and percussion along with very talented vocals to round out the ensemble.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to not only host an amazing holiday show but to also raise money for a remarkable organization like Make A Wish,” said Susan Kightlinger, General Manager of Deadwood Mountain Grand. “They touch the lives of people in our communities each and every year, so to help raise funds for their organization is very gratifying.”
