Tatanka’s First Annual Celebration
Saturday, October 13 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
$5 per person, kids 15 and under are free!
Bring chairs and enjoy the music, dancers, and contests while enjoying the fresh autumn mountain air and the beautiful scenery that is Tatanka Story of the Bison.
Bison hot dog or Bison burger and chips – $10
Bison summer sausage/cheese/crackers – $10

Hot Cider, Hot Chocolate, Hot Flavored Coffee, Pop, Water, Hot Coffee, Hot Tea – $3

Tomahawk Throw: 3 throws/$1 Native and Autumn Face Painting: $3 Raffle Tickets: $1 or 12/$10, winners announced at approx. 4 p.m. Must be present to win

Chokecherry condiment creation/Autumn soup or Squash dish/Squash pie or bread
Bring enough for 100 guests to sample a bite-size taste. They will judge who wins 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Must list all ingredients on the table. Make sure it’s legible. Tell all your friends and family you entered and you need their vote.
Squash Carving Contest – Bison Themed
Age Groups: 5 – 8, 9 – 12, 13 – 16, 17 & up
Carvers, bring your carved squash to Tatanka. Carvings must be done by the entrant only. Be creative! Guests will judge the carvings.
Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest – Bison Themed
Age Groups: 5 – 10, 11 – 16, 17 & up
Artists will have 3 hours to complete their picture, from 9 – 12. Bring your own chalk. Be creative! Guests will judge the art contest.
