Kool Deadwood Nites brings car lovers together for four days full of classic cars, classic music and classic fun. It’s a 50’s and 60’s sock hop - Deadwood style. Enjoy parades, show and shines and FREE concerts on Main Street featuring the biggest names in rock ‘n roll history.

  • Early Automobiles in the Black Hills – 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Adams Museum will host a photographic exhibit to celebrate Kool Deadwood Nites. Admission by donation. 
  • Car Registration - Noon - 8pm - Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.
  • Owners Only BBQ – 1pm – 6pm – Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.
  • People’s Choice Awards –Voting from 4pm - 9pm. Live DJ and games from 4pm – 6pm – History and Information Center Parking Lot and portions of Deadwood Main Street.
  • 7th Annual Sock Hop – Featuring the Roselles Brother’s Band & Danny & the Juniors - 7pm - 10pm – Main Street.
  • People’s Choice Awards Results – 10pm – Main Street stage.

  • Early Automobiles in the Black Hills – 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Adams Museum will host a photographic exhibit to celebrate Kool Deadwood Nites. Admission by donation. 
  • Deadwood Rod Run – 10am – 2pm - Escorted tour through beautiful Vanocker Canyon or a trip to the Sturgis Dragway, and a chance to run the track! . Free breakfast for Rod Run registrants at the Lodge 7-9:30am.
  • Car Registration – 9am - 7pm – Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.
  • Owners Only BBQ – Noon – 6pm - Deadwood Gulch Convention Center
  • Free Concerts – Featuring The Kid & Nic Show, DD and the Fayroh’s and Starship with Mickey Thomas. Music starts at 5pm on Main Street.

  • Car Registration - 7am - 11:30am – Deadwood Gulch Convention Center.
  • Classic Car Competition/Judging - 8am - noon - Days of ’76 Rodeo Grounds/Ferguson Field across from the First Gold Hotel.
  • Classic Car Auction – 9am, Deadwood Mountain Grand. Contact McPherson Auction at 605-348-1369 or email.
  • Elvis Impersonator, Bill Schott and the Fuzzy Dice Band – Tin Lizzie. Shows beginning at noon.
  • Poker Runs – 10am - 4pm – throughout the Black Hills. Awards party at Tin Lizzie, lower Main Street beginning at 5pm.
  • Free Concerts – Featuring The Kid and Nic Show, DD and the Fayroh’s and Gary Puckett and Union Gap. Music Starts at 4pm on Main Street.

  • Parade - Line-up begins at 7am – Rodeo Grounds/Ferguson Field.
  • Show and Shine – Main Street, immediately following the parade until 2pm.
  • Awards - Parking lot at the History and Information Center, 11am.
