Great Cars, Great Fun and Great Music!

Car registration information is now available, call the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce at 1-800-999-1876 for more information! REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE HERE! Kool Deadwood Nites brings car lovers together for four days full of classic cars, classic music and classic fun. It’s a 50’s and 60’s sock hop - Deadwood style. Enjoy parades, show and shines and FREE concerts on Main Street featuring the biggest names in rock ‘n roll history.

NEW IN 2015: Park your car, and ride a shuttle, for FREE!!! Akela Spa, just outside of Deadwood on Highway 14A (Boulder Canyon) will be the host of free parking and a free shuttle ride to Deadwood! The parking and free shuttle will be available Friday, August 21 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, August 22 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Take the worry out of parking in town, and hop on the shuttle!   • Car Registration - Noon - 8pm - The Lodge at Deadwood.
  • Owners Only BBQ – 1pm – 6pm – The Lodge at Deadwood.
  • People’s Choice Awards –Voting from 4pm - 9pm. Live DJ and games from 4pm – 6pm – History and Information Center Parking Lot and portions of Deadwood Main Street.
  • 7th Annual Sock Hop – Featuring The Roselle's Brothers followed by The Rip Chords - 7pm - 10pm – Main Street.
  • People’s Choice Awards Results – 10pm – Main Street stage.

  • Deadwood Rod Run – 10am – 2pm - Escorted tour through beautiful Vanocker Canyon including a trip to the Sturgis Dragway, and a chance to run the track! Or, take a trek through famous Spearfish Canyon with a stop at Carsten's Cottages for live entertainment and more! Free breakfast for all participants at the Lodge from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.!
  • Classic Car Auction - 10 a.m. Deadwood Mountain Grand. For info on the classic car auction, please contact: McPherson Auction at 605-348-1369 or email, check in information below.
  • Car Registration – 9am - 7pm – The Lodge at Deadwood.

  • Poker Runs – 10am - 4pm – throughout the Black Hills. Awards party at Tin Lizzie, lower Main Street beginning at 5pm.

  • Parade - Line-up begins at 7am – Rodeo Grounds/Ferguson Field. Parade begins at 9 a.m. 
  • Show and Shine – Main Street, immediately following the parade until 2pm.
  • Awards - Parking lot at the History and Information Center, 11am.
