Madame Peacock’s Beer & Bling is your favorite combination of women’s boutique and men’s beer heaven. Tucked between racks of women’s western boho clothing, boots, hats, and jewelry is a full-service beer bar…and a local hidden gem, at that! Whether you’re in need of a little retail therapy or you’re just looking for a dry seat to hang your cowboy hat or motorcycle helmet, the welcoming team at Madame Peacock’s has you covered.
With 15 years of retail experience offering their private label products like “Bad Girls of Sturgis” and “Bad Girls of Deadwood” at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Tom and Julie Koth found themselves hoping for a more permanent home in the Black Hills of South Dakota. In May of 2012, they purchased The Mint Casino building at 638 Main Street, and Madame Peacock’s was born. Staying true to the building’s casino roots, keeping the bar in service was a no-brainer and it quickly became one of their customers favorite features. While ownership has recently transitioned to Julie’s daughter, Alex, that legacy spirit and vibe remain.
Not only do women rave about the hand-picked, unique selection of leather, lace, sterling silver, turquoise, and more, EVERYONE enjoys getting a little crazy at the bar (we have photos to prove it!). You can find the team slinging Schlitz during Deadwood’s many events, so swing by during Kool Deadwood Nites, Wild Bill Days, St. Patrick’s Day, Mardi Gras, Deadweird, or anytime you’re in town visiting – they’re open year-round.
