Wild Bill Days has something for all tastes and ages – and something for the dogs! The National DockDogs Competition will be back for its 16th year! Downtown Art Festival
* New this Year!*
Main Street will also host a downtown art festival featuring unique vendors and your favorite Deadwood businesses. Don’t miss the local business “bump outs” up and down Main Street for a truly local experience. Food and beverage vending on Main Street will also be provided by local businesses, offering an array of delicious treats! Wild West Fun for the Whole Family

Bring the whole family to enjoy Wild Bill Days! The NEW Wild West Kids Fun Park will be located in the History and Information Center parking lot, and features Wild West-themed games, activities, and a kid’s train! While exploring the vendors on Main Street, stop by the electronic quick draw and mini horse petting zoo in the Celebrity Hotel parking lot.
Deadwood Alive Performances
The Trial of Jack McCall is performed for free at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14 on the Main Street stage during Wild Bill Days! Deadwood’s famous (and FREE!) shootout schedule is subject to change during this event. Deadwood Alive Schedule For Wild Bill Days TBD

Old West Demonstrations
Learn to gold pan and sluice on Historic Main Street! Northern Hills Prospectors of Lead-Deadwood provide lessons for free, from 10 am to 5 pm on both Friday and Saturday. You can even pan “pay dirt” for a fee! There will also be demonstrations on arrow making, beadwork, and more!
Days of ’76 Museum Wagon Display
* New this Year!*
The Days of ’76 Museum will feature an authentic wagon display on Main Street, showcasing a stagecoach and a chuckwagon for photo ops. Plus, get hands-on with historical demonstrations from Deadwood History Inc. staff.
Wild Bill Days Collector Car & Memorabilia Auction
Saturday, June 14 beginning at 10 am • This 10th annual auction is held inside Deadwood Mt. Grand’s event center. Wild Deadwood Reads
Love to read? Come to the 8th Annual Wild Deadwood Reads book fair at The Lodge at Deadwood on June 14th from 10 am to 3 pm! In attendance will be more than 80 authors from all over the country, including bestselling and award-winning authors of every genre—romance, historical, Christian, children’s, mystery, thrillers, Western, non-fiction, and more. You will be able to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy. There will be numerous giveaways and prizes. Admittance is FREE, so bring the whole family and find your new favorite books and authors.
Treasures, Trash for Cash – Annual Citywide Yard Sale
Monument Health Deadwood Hospital is accepting addresses for The Annual Citywide Yard Sale, “Treasures, Trash for Cash”. The event will take place Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 7 am – 2 pm for the residents of Deadwood, Central City, and Lead. This one day event is a simultaneous yard sale that gives residents, organizations, and businesses the opportunity to increase their potential customers by having a coordinated date and advertising campaign. Maps with addresses and site locations will be printed and available by the Black Hills Pioneer the week of Saturday, June 14th, 2025. Names & Addresses need to be submitted no later than Friday, May 30, 2025 at 4 pm to be noted on the yard/garage sale map. Please call (605) 717–6001 to add your location to the list.
