The Deadwood Alive troupe is here to entertain. From Main Street Deadwood shootouts to guided walking tours, there’s something for all guests to enjoy, year-round. Read on for more info!

Deadwood Alive will return with free Main Street shows, six days a week in Summer 2025. Schedule is altered or suspended for some special events. 

Spring 2026 Schedule
Fridays & Saturdays• March 20 – April 25

  • 12:00 p.m. – “Lawman’s Patrol” – Walking Tour $15 per person. 1-800-344-8826 to book this tour. Must book 24 hours in advance.
  • 1:00 PM “Black Hills Wildlife – Then and Now” – Experience hands-on teeth, claws, fur, and footprints of Black Hills creatures. – Mustang Sally’s
  • 2:00 PM – “Amble About and Chew the Fat” – Catch up with the gunslingers as they roam about town meetin’ folks. Ask questions, get some autographs, high fies and a healthy dose of groan-worthy jokes.- Outlaw Square
  • 2:30 PM “Firearms of the Frontier” – the evolution of pre-1899 firearms – Mustang Sally’s
  • 4:00 PM “Black Hills Bandits and Boogeymen” – Hear two Blck Hills Lawmen tell of their exploits back in the rough and tumble days of early Deadwood and beyond. All are true, but some are hard to believe. – Outlaw Square

ADMISSION FOR THE TRIAL OF JACK McCALL:
The Trial of Jack McCall is seasonal and returns in late May of 2026!

The Trial operates Monday through Saturday during Peak Season at the Eagle Bar Theatre, 610 Main Street. Admission for Trial: $10 Adults, $9 Seniors, $6 Children (ages 6-12) and Children 5 and under are free. Tickets are also available day-of at the door before the show or on Historic Main Street from the Information Chuckwagon. Online and phone (800-344-8826) purchases must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

The Shooting of Wild Bill
Free show held Monday – Saturday inside the Saloon No. 10 at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m, and 7 p.m.

Ride the Deadwood Stagecoach: GET INFO
Beginning late May, Tuesday – Saturday, 9am-2pm, every half-hour with the last ride at 1:30pm. $15 adults, $10 Children (ages 6-12), $5 Children (ages 3-5) and Children 2 and under are free. *weather permitting + black out days apply* Seating is limited. Tickets at Outlaw Square Stage Stop.

*NEW* Evening Carriage Rides: GET INFO
These rides run Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays during the summer season at 6:30 pm, 7 pm, and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the gazebo at Outlaw Square, the chuckwagon, through Black Hills Central Reservations, and the ticket stand for the Trial of Jack McCall. The pick-up and drop-off location is the Eagle Bar (608 Main Street). Blackout dates apply during Deadwood special events.
