Jakes is located atop the Midnight Star and features a comfortable, fine dining atmosphere.
Along with the open, warm elegance of the restaurant layout, Jakes features a dramatic skylight and great views of Deadwood through the Midnight Star’s fourth floor windows overlooking Deadwood’s historic Main Street.
Jakes is proud to say that it has once again become the restaurant with its unbeatable elegance and warm, friendly ambience that it was once known for during the days when the Midnight Star was owned by Kevin Costner and his team.
Both Chef Aaron and Chef Arthur’s goal is to have Jakes become the finest place to dine in South Dakota.
Jakes wonderful menus are each created by our own Chef Aaron and Chef Arthur. The menus feature seasonal and unique entrees. Jakes breads, appetizers and desserts are all personally designed and made in house by Chef Aaron and his team of culinary professionals.
Jakes offers seasonal menus that feature hand cut steaks, fresh seafood and wild game.
Start your night with an appetizer such as Escargot or peppadew shrimp and one of Jakes specialty handcrafted cocktails.
Choose your entrée such as halibut, sea bass, yellowfin tuna, Colorado lamb, fresh-water lobster tail, ribeye or our famous tomahawk steak and pair it with a glass or bottle of wine from our extensive wine list.
Enjoy your selection of one of Jakes famous desserts, each of which are made in house by Chef Aaron and his team.
