Don’t miss the best Mardi Gras celebration north of the Bayou! Come to Deadwood, South Dakota, for a weekend full of free food, a parade, a masquerade ball, themed cocktails, and music. Plus, there are special open container zones where you can roam from one Deadwood bar to the next (beer and wine only).

Cocktail Crawl • All Day/Evening • Locations in Deadwood • MUST BE 21+
Cajun-themed cocktail drink specials are available to purchase at participating locations in Deadwood.
Masquerade Ball, 7-10 pm • Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center • MUST BE 21+
- Cover charge $10 at the door or online. Stay tuned for 2027 tickets!
- There will be Mardi Gras themed performances, including aerialists, fire performers, a stilt walker, a tarot card reader, and a live DJ.
- “Best Dressed” contest
- 1st Place $250

3rd Place $50

- There will also be a drawing every 30 minutes for a $25 gift card!
Saturday, February 6
Cocktail Crawl • All Day/Evening • MUST BE 21+

Cajun Cookoff: 2 pm-4 pm • Locations in Deadwood • MUST BE 21+ for some locations
- Sample Cajun delicacies created by Deadwood’s chefs. Sampling is free! Donate to a local charity by voting for your favorite “People’s Choice” dishes with your dollars.

Parade: 7 pm • Main Street
